OneSignal has a lot of the great tech startup qualities you'd expect, but we don't stop there. Our massive scale and small team, emphasis on collaboration, and focus on ownership and personal growth make OneSignal a uniquely great place to work.

We’re looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to develop compelling content that advances our brand and business goals. You’ll turn company priorities, customer insights, and market opportunities into high-quality content, and work across the team to distribute and measure the impact. You’ll own our editorial strategy and create distinctive, useful content that drives business results. You’ll develop an always-on content engine by uncovering stories in customer results, product expertise, and original research.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role. You’ll create the strategy, write and edit, interview customers and experts, develop repeatable content programs, and work cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Product, Partners, and Customer Success. You’ll also shape how we distribute content, measure its impact, and use AI to improve the way we work. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

What You'll Do:
  • Own OneSignal’s content strategy and editorial direction, developing compelling stories, themes, and thought leadership that support brand and business goals.
  • Create high-quality content—including practical guides, customer stories, research, and thought leadership—that translates complex ideas into actionable insights.
  • Uncover original stories by interviewing customers and industry experts to showcase unique perspectives, customer outcomes, and business impact.
  • Drive content distribution and partnerships across channels, collaborating with Marketing, executives, creators, publishers, and partners to expand reach and engagement.
  • Grow organic visibility through SEO and AEO, optimizing content for search engines and AI discovery to drive qualified traffic and demand.
  • Leverage AI to build efficient workflows for research, briefing, editing, and content repurposing while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand voice.
  • Lead the annual State of Customer Engagement report and measure content performance against MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline to continuously optimize strategy and investment.

What You'll Bring:
  • 6+ years of content marketing experience in B2B SaaS
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and ability to explain complex subjects clearly
  • Experience building content strategy and execution, from identifying an opportunity through publication and distribution
  • Strong customer communication skills and ability to conduct customer interviews, write compelling stories, and get customer approvals
  • Expertise in SEO and an experimental approach to discovery through AI search
  • Practical experience using AI in content workflows to improve efficiency and output without sacrificing quality
  • The ability to prioritize, manage competing requests, and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Can move quickly, make sound decisions in an ambiguous environment and adapt as priorities evolve
  • A can-do attitude and willing to take on challenges without clear direction

The New York and California base salary for this full time position is between $135,000 to $160,000. Your exact starting salary is determined by a number of factors such as your experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we also offer a competitive equity program and comprehensive and inclusive benefits.

  • Accountability & Collaboration

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
