Duties and Responsibilities

Client Delivery

  • Serves as project manager with a strong understanding of client needs related to project program area and/or technical best practices and industry standards for project delivery in one or more of the following areas
    • Project Management,
    • Quality Assurance and Testing
    • Software Development Lifecycle and System Configuration
    • Security and Privacy
    • Business Process Redesign
    • Independent Verification and Validation
    • Strategic Planning
    • Procurement Planning and Execution
  • Understands complex state and federal regulations and requirements; analyzes and interprets federal and state law and regulation.
  • Reviews business operations for service and efficiency improvements.
  • Independently manages complex projects, staff, and tasks with limited supervision while meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
  • Manages daily project functions and client interaction.
  • Develops communication plans with clients, executes highly effective written and verbal communication both internal and external
  • Identifies and elicits requirements from key stakeholders in each engagement.
  • Facilitates client discussions.
  • Identifies gaps and shortcomings and determines necessary workarounds.
  • Plans and monitors ongoing project tasks, delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Assesses best practices and compliance errors and provides technical assistance to clients.
  • May have responsibility to manage direct reports in this position

Business Development

  • Conducts market analysis and develops growth strategies, identifying priority service offerings, coordinating outreach, and translating market intelligence into actionable pursuit plans.
  • Identifies, researches, and qualifies new sales opportunities; maintains accurate opportunity information in the customer relationship management system; coordinates analysis; and follows leads through pursuit, proposal, award, or closeout.
  • Supports complex proposal efforts and may lead teams to develop proposal sections

Required Skills

  • Prioritizes initiatives and maintains progress in multiple efforts concurrently
  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret policy, legal briefs, and regulations.
  • Translate ideas into actions with a strong commitment to demonstrating outcomes
  • Able to work independently and consistently achieve excellent results
  • Able to work effectively with all members of project teams.
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to successfully identify new business opportunities and up-sell to existing customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or 10 years’ experience required, graduate degree preferred
  • 5-10 years’ relevant work experience.

Working Conditions

This position is hybrid with travel/onsite requirements. To be successful at PCG, you must:

    • be available during your set working hours
    • have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and
    • be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave

Range: $88,000 - $140,000

PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
