Who We Are

Babylist is the leading platform for expecting and new families. More than 10 million people shop with Babylist every year, making it the go-to destination for seamless purchasing, guidance, and expert recommendations. As a modern, AI-forward tech company, Babylist has expanded from a universal registry into a full ecosystem — the Babylist Shop, Babylist Health, Babylist Money, NYC and LA showrooms, branded content, and more — generating $750M in revenue in 2025. Building the generational brand in baby, Babylist is reshaping the $235B kids and baby market and helping parents feel confident, connected, and cared for at every step.

Our Ways of Working

Babylist is remote-first with team members across the U.S. and Canada who move fast, think smart, and use AI as part of how they work every day — not as an experiment, as an expectation. We come together twice a year to build the relationships behind the work, and we hire people who are genuinely excited about what's possible and prove it through how they show up.

What the Role Is

Babylist is looking for a Senior Client Partner to own and grow a portfolio of brand partnerships across our media, content, and experiential products. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, this role sits at the center of how Babylist brings its brand partners to life — from custom Showroom activations and branded content series to social impact programming and emerging partnership formats. This is a senior individual contributor role for a partnerships leader who thinks in long-term relationships, not just closed deals.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in media, ad sales, retail media, or experiential partnerships — ideally in a consumer brand or publisher environment
  • A consultative relationship builder who leads with trust and plays the long game — comfortable saying no to revenue when the partnership fit isn’t right
  • Fluent in the full partnership deal cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and activation oversight
  • A strong cross-functional collaborator who knows how to align internal stakeholders and bring partners along through complex, multi-team executions
  • Clear and compelling in how you communicate — both in the room with partners and in the proposals and decks you build
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where you’ll own your book of business end-to-end
  • You're genuinely excited about what AI can do - not just as a concept, but as something you want to get your hands on. At Babylist, every team uses AI daily, and we're looking for people who lean in.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Own a portfolio of brand partner relationships, driving both breadth and depth across new business development and expansion of current partnerships across Babylist’s media and experiential offerings
  • Lead end-to-end deal cycles — from prospecting and pitching to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Develop and pitch custom partnership packages ranging from Showroom activations, branded content integrations, and influencer shower sponsorships to lower-funnel, ROAS-driving onsite opportunities
  • Serve as a strategic consultant to brand partners — understanding their business goals, connecting them to the right Babylist products, and knowing when the fit isn’t right
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Showroom, and Social teams to develop pitches, execute activations, and ensure partnerships deliver on both sides
  • Track the competitive landscape and surface relevant market trends to inform partnership strategy
  • Represent Babylist at industry events and in external partner conversations

About Compensation

We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is:

$140,187 to $168,241

Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
