Make your impact at a leading Fintech Company

BILL's Finance BizTech team partners with Finance and Accounting to design, implement, and support the systems that run our financial operations. We are seeking a Staff Business Systems Analyst with deep functional expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud. You will be part of our Oracle Fusion implementation and, after go-live, lead post go-live support and ongoing enhancements.

This is a hands-on functional role. You will work closely with business users, translate their needs into well-designed system solutions, and partner with other BSAs, IT teams, and an offshore technical team to deliver them.

  • Serve as a functional lead on the Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation across Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (O2C).
  • Lead post go-live support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution, as well as system enhancements and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and goals, and recommend scalable ERP solutions.
  • Gather and document business requirements, functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, and configuration specifications.
  • Configure Oracle ERP Cloud modules and perform hands-on setup, including managing configuration changes across environments.
  • Plan and execute testing, including test scripts, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), and support defect resolution through to sign-off.
  • Support integration processes between Oracle ERP and upstream and downstream systems, working with technical teams to define requirements, validate data flows, and resolve exceptions.
  • Collaborate with the offshore technical team by providing clear functional specifications, prioritizing work, and reviewing deliverables.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring system readiness and timely resolution of close-related issues.
  • Work with internal and external auditors by supporting audit requests, documenting controls, and providing system evidence in support of SOX and other compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with other BSAs and cross-functional IT teams, including integration, data, security, and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to release management, change management, and end-user training and communication.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or functional consultant, with significant experience in Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion).
  • Strong functional expertise across Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash, including areas such as General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Payables, Receivables, Procurement, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion configuration and testing.
  • Experience in at least one full-cycle Oracle ERP Cloud implementation, plus post go-live support and enhancements.
  • Proven experience working directly with business users and a strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
  • Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors and supporting controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting ERP integrations.
  • Experience working with offshore technical teams.
  • Strong skills in documenting business requirements and functional design documents.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences and business needs to technical teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
