The Enterprise Operations team sits within the Incident Management & AI organization. The team’s mission is to drive operational excellence by providing actionable business intelligence, streamlining processes, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization through data-driven insights.
Job Description
Within this team, we have an opportunity for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to work in a talented, cross-functional, highly collaborative team to analyze business data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and drive business growth.
This individual must possess 4+ years of experience in business operations or data analytics and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, along with strong SQL or Tableau Prep and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate must be able to independently manage their own projects from start to finish with minimal guidance. More than just executing on requests, this person must be able to think strategically across the organization, viewing challenges from a top-down perspective to identify and solve the root problem. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, high data literacy, and intellectual curiosity. Ideally, you are an exceedingly organized, results-oriented individual who knows how to redirect around pitfalls, remain flexible and positive in an ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze complex, ambiguous business problems and identify and evaluate multiple potential solutions to recommend the optimal path forward.
Lead the development and implementation of insightful reports, dashboards, and advanced data visualizations in Tableau for various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Respond to and fulfill ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and other data manipulation tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and develop long-term strategies to support business objectives.
Conduct comprehensive, in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement and strategic growth.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts or use Tableau Prep to extract, manipulate, and transform data from multiple sources.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
Analyze complex operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design and propose innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop robust performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
Present complex findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in business operations as a Business Operations Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role, or 2+ years of experience with a Master's degree.
3+ years of hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports with Tableau.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain fingerprint clearance.
Demonstrated ability to approach challenges with a holistic, top-down strategic mindset, moving beyond immediate solutions to address broader business objectives.
Strong proficiency in Tableau, with a thorough understanding of data visualization best practices and techniques. Please include a link to your Tableau Public profile or a portfolio of your work in your resume.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
Proficient SQL or Tableau Prep skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Keen analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and methodologies.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Target Base Salary Range: $72,700 USD - $145,400 USD
