Thales is looking for a Business Analyst, Sales Operations Data Analytics to support the Cyber Security Products (CSP) business globally by consuming Sales Operations reports, translating data into actionable insights, and helping leaders understand business performance, planning priorities, opportunities, and risks. Reporting to the Sales Operations Data Analytics Team, this role will analyze pipeline, bookings, billings, forecasting, account, territory, product, and regional performance information to identify trends, explain business drivers, and recommend actions that improve execution and decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong data analysis capabilities, business acumen, stakeholder communication, and a practical understanding of Sales Operations processes to help global CSP leadership make informed decisions on business planning, goal setting, performance management, and risk mitigation.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Consume, interpret, and synthesize Sales Operations dashboards, reports, and datasets to provide clear insights on global CSP business performance

  • Analyze pipeline, forecast, bookings, billings, attainment, product performance, regional trends, customer segments, sales execution metrics, and retention indicators (ARR, NRR, GRR) to identify key business drivers

  • Prepare management analyses and executive insights on performance trends across products, geographies, customer segments, and other strategic dimensions

  • Provide recommendations to support business planning, annual and quarterly goal setting, territory and coverage review, resource prioritization, and operational focus areas

  • Identify opportunities for growth, execution improvement, cross-sell expansion, sales productivity, data quality improvement, and process optimization across global CSP Sales Operations

  • Identify and communicate risks related to pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, deal concentration, regional performance gaps, customer exposure, timing, and operational dependencies

  • Partner with Sales Operations Data Analytics, regional sales leaders, finance, product stakeholders, and business operations teams to validate insights and align recommendations with business priorities

  • Support recurring business reviews, forecast cadences, QBRs, leadership updates, and planning cycles by preparing concise analysis, executive summaries, and data-backed recommendations

  • Translate complex analysis into simple business narratives that help leaders understand what changed, why it changed, what it means, and what actions should be considered

  • Monitor report usage, data gaps, metric definitions, and stakeholder feedback to improve the quality, relevance, and adoption of Sales Operations reporting

  • Collaborate with data and reporting teams to document requirements, validate metrics, test report enhancements, and ensure reporting outputs are aligned to business question

  • Maintain a structured view of key opportunities, risks, assumptions, and follow-up actions to support leadership decision-making and operational accountability

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology related field or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related business performance roles

  • Experience supporting global or multi-region sales organizations, preferably in technology, cybersecurity, software, SaaS, or enterprise solutions businesses

  • Experience with Salesforce, Clari, Power BI, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Certinia, or similar enterprise data and reporting platforms

  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, compare period-over period performance, segment results, and explain business drivers

  • Experience using BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms to analyze and communicate business performance

  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights, recommendations, opportunity assessments, and risk narratives for business leaders

  • Experience working with sales performance data, pipeline, forecasting, bookings, billings, CRM data, account information, or similar commercial datasets

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data validation, scenario analysis, and structured analysis outputs

  • Understanding core Sales Operations processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, quota or goal setting, business reviews, and performance tracking

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly, ask effective business questions, and influence action through data-backed insights

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical discipline, and ability to validate data assumptions before communicating conclusions

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing requests, and deliver timely analysis in a fast-paced global business environment
