Brand Management at Riot is focused on players and fans. Our mission is to make it better to be a player by building trust, inspiring fandom, and creating meaningful, resonant experiences across every touchpoint. For Teamfight Tactics, this means celebrating the strategy, creativity, and playfulness at the heart of the game and bringing these values to life.

As a Brand Manager III for Teamfight Tactics (TFT), you will lead high-impact initiatives and deliver world-class campaigns that strengthen TFT’s brand identity. You will shape global perception by defining how the game shows up to players, crafting integrated publishing strategies and guiding creative expression across sets, features, and player moments. This role builds a cohesive, enduring brand, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to bring the brand to life.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you will own go-to-market strategy and execution for global player experiences, balancing long-term brand building with moment-based impact. Operating at the intersection of product, publishing, and creative, you will lead campaign development, align partners, manage budgets, and uphold a high bar for craft to deliver culturally resonant, distinctly TFT work.

Responsibilities:

Brand & Campaign Leadership

  • Lead the creation of high-quality global campaigns in partnership with creative, production, and community teams
  • Partner with game development leadership to shape campaign strategy across sets, features, and key moments
  • Develop integrated, cross-platform campaign plans that express TFT’s gameplay, creativity, and evolving set fantasies
  • Ensure campaigns reinforce a cohesive brand identity, tone, and player promise

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Global Publishing

  • Partner with product, communications, social, and community teams to align on campaign narratives, publishing priorities, and evergreen programs
  • Collaborate with insights to inform strategy and global publishing decisions
  • Lead and support Regional Brand Leads through campaign cycles, ensuring global alignment and effective local execution

Creative & Operational Excellence

  • Provide strategic direction to guide creative development with a consistent tone, voice, and narrative
  • Translate insights into clear creative briefs and campaign strategies
  • Manage brand marketing budgets and execution, ensuring delivery on time and on budget
  • Stay connected to players, culture, and the competitive landscape to inform brand direction
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in brand strategy, product marketing, publishing, or equivalent roles
  • Experience leading integrated go-to-market campaigns from strategy through execution and measurement
  • Strong understanding of growth and performance marketing, with the ability to connect brand strategy to business outcomes
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across disciplines and regions
  • Strong strategic thinking, with experience translating insights into plans, briefs, and campaign direction
  • Experience working with gaming audiences, ideally within live-service or strategy-driven genres
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, managing complex timelines and dependencies
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with TFT, Riot IP, and the strategy or live-service game landscape
  • Experience working with game development teams and understanding development cycles
  • Experience with media planning, user acquisition, or channel strategy within full-funnel campaigns
  • Experience managing campaigns across PC, mobile, and console
  • Strong awareness of digital culture and player communities
  • Passion for games across PC, mobile, and/or console

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
