  • Identify data-driven trends and anomalies and present findings with clear visual storytelling.

What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics).

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles, preferably within ad tech, media, or digital marketing.

  • Proficiency with SQL and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of data modeling and experience working with large data sets.

  • Proven ability to derive insights from data and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with Snowflake required. Experience with BigQuery or ADH is a plus.

  • Familiarity with advertising metrics, brand safety, and platform-specific analytics (e.g., YouTube, TikTok) is a strong plus.

  • Curious, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Benefits (for US based employees):
  • Flexible PTO

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with FSA options

  • Company-paid life insurance

  • Paid parental leave

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Professional development opportunities

  • 14 paid holidays off

  • Summer Fridays (we leave early)

  • Flexible hybrid work schedule

  • In-office lunches and lots of free food

  • Optional in-person and virtual events (we like to celebrate!)

Compensation (for US based employees):

The anticipated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $130,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If your compensation expectations fall outside of this range, it may still be worth having a conversation.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
