Through a collaborative and strategic environment, NYLIM Marketing partners across the organization to strengthen the firm's brand, support business growth, and drive awareness of its differentiated investment capabilities. This hybrid position is based in New York City with an in-office presence of three days per week.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of proactive product marketing for private market strategies, including content across formats such as tear sheets/fact cards, presentations, brochures, thought leadership, blogs, videos, and webinars, as well as digital campaigns in partnership with the institutional and retail segment marketing teams.
  • Partner closely with the private market investment teams and Client Portfolio Managers, as well as with distribution, digital marketing, segment marketing, business intelligence, and compliance to craft compelling narratives that articulate long-term value and differentiation across opaque or less liquid investment vehicles, aligning with business priorities and product strategy.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly product marketing updates, proactively reviewing positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation to ensure consistency across all materials and channels.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to recommend enhancements to marketing strategies, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Serve as a key contributor on cross-functional initiatives and marketing projects, helping to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making while balancing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal supervision.

What You'll Bring:
  • BA/BS required, concentration in marketing, finance, economics, communications, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of private markets marketing or related financial services experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of private markets - especially private credit, including corporate private placements, infrastructure debt, and asset-based financing strategies - with the ability to translate complex strategies into compelling market narratives.
  • Experience supporting intermediary and/or institutional distribution teams preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing restrictions and regulatory considerations specific to private offerings (e.g., Reg D, accredited investor rules) is a plus.
  • Ability to support a range of product structures-including interval funds and other '40 Act vehicles designed for semi-liquid strategies, as well as private vehicles such as CITs and LPs-with flexibility to adapt messaging and marketing strategies as new structures emerge.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and execute multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing tactically and managing day-to-day deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Seismic, or similar marketing platforms preferred.

Salary Range: $115,000-$164,500
Overtime eligible: Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
