Role summary
As a Senior Associate Offers Shopping Marketing Strategy in the Offers and Shopping team, you will help shape and scale connected customer journeys from discovery to activation to redemption. You will translate customer and product signals into journey concepts, messaging strategy, test plans, and clear creative briefs, then partner with cross-functional teams to launch and learn. Your work will help improve relevance and measurable customer value across our digital channels.
Job responsibilities
- Support the team lead in evolving end-to-end customer journey strategy across touchpoints.
- Develop new journey and campaign concepts based on customer insights, product signals, and performance trends.
- Define audience and personalization strategy (targeting inputs, eligibility logic needs, and content rules) with analytics and product partners.
- Build and maintain a learning agenda and experimentation roadmap, including hypotheses, test design, and measurement approach.
- Partner with campaign execution team to convert strategy into requirements and creative briefs.
- Align stakeholders on what will be launched, timing, and how outcomes will be measured.
- Contribute to offer curation and placement recommendations across key owned surfaces.
- Synthesize performance insights into clear recommendations for optimization, prioritization, and next-best tests.
- Help run partner campaign workflows, including intake, prioritization, briefing, governance, and decision routines.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, lifecycle or journey strategy, or digital marketing planning.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights and product signals into clear priorities and journey plans.
- Experience with personalization and targeting concepts and lifecycle-based messaging strategy.
- Strong grounding in measurement and experimentation, including hypothesis-driven testing and interpreting results.
- Experience leading through influence in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to drive alignment from ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex ideas for diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in offers, shopping, ecommerce, loyalty, or value ecosystems.
- Familiarity with segmentation and signals used to improve relevance.
- Experience partnering with media or partner marketing teams to integrate partner goals into customer journeys while maintaining a consistent customer experience.
- Comfort developing lightweight operating models (intake, governance, prioritization) that improve speed and clarity.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills for strategy readouts and test results.
- Experience collaborating with creative and marketing technology teams.
- Track record of improving activation and redemption through journey optimization and iterative testing.
