We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Commercial Finance department in Los Angeles.

This will be a hybrid role with 4 days required in our LA office. 

In A Nutshell:

The Senior Analyst, Financial Operations, plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of our LA clients. This position requires a proactive individual to collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee the invoicing process, ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition, and support the monthly close. We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to thrive in our dynamic agency environment.

What You'd Do:

  • Collaborate with Financial Operations, Shared Services (A/P and A/R), Accounting, Client Services, and Project Management to understand business priorities and financial needs
  • Manage the full invoicing process in NetSuite, from creation to ensuring timely and accurate client payments, while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Coordinate with Shared Services & Treasury to follow up and analyze overdue A/R
  • Lead the preparation of monthly revenue recognition, coordinating with Accounting during the monthly close process
  • Provide support to the Financial Operations Lead during the monthly close, ensuring all invoicing is completed and tracked for accurate revenue recognition
  • Oversee Purchase Order (PO) approvals
  • Coordinate with Shared Services (A/P) to ensure timely vendor payments and adherence to the PO process
  • Participate in project wrap meetings to provide financial context and ensure accurate project close-outs (impacting revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and WIP releases)
  • Review and analyze agency budgets and scopes of work (SOWs) to verify financial invoicing details and payment terms
  • Perform ad hoc projects, including budget analysis, agency costs, and support forecasting and staff cost tracking

What You've Got:

  • 2-4 years of work within an agency or business service environment in Financial Operations, Client Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong experience with NetSuite (or a similar commercial ERP is required).
  • Experience with NSPB (or similar planning tools) is considered a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and proactively identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong ability to partner with cross-functional teams and address business concerns in a diplomatic fashion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
