About this team:
The Sr. Analyst, Credit & Collections is responsible for account collections, reconciliations, and credit analysis support. This role will leverage AI-driven analytics and automation tools to monitor outstanding invoices, predict payment behaviors, and take proactive action to reduce bad debt and optimize cash flow. The position reports directly to and works under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Credit / Collections.
In this role you will:
Collections
Develop and periodically report on metrics related to the success of the product line
Manage assigned accounts receivable through written and oral communications.
Monitor accounts that are past due by regularly reviewing the collections queue, aging and other reports. Analyze and interpret accounts receivable and credit/collections data.
When necessary, escalate payment matters to Sales Management in order to assist in the collection efforts. Determine when an account should be escalated to the Supervisor and/or Director for additional direction.
Monitor payment habits and recommend payment terms and/or credit limits changes in order to minimize bad debt.
Reconciliations
Manage account reconciliation activity by reviewing and researching payments deductions as well as work closely with the Accounts Receivable/Billing team in order to resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
Work closely with sales to resolve any billing or contract related discrepancies that may impact the accounts receivable.
Credit Analysis
Provide support and assistance to the Senior Manager, Credit & Collections, by processing new and/or updated credit applications. Obtain credit agency reports, bank/trade references and any other available tools in order to determine creditworthiness (Internet, Financial Statements, etc.). Conduct credit reviews or submit information to the Credit & Collections Manager in order to conduct credit reviews.
Open new accounts including system set up in Oracle. Update system of any client name, address and credit limit changes. Update and maintenance credit files on a regular basis.
Cash Application - Ensure that customer payments and other receivables are properly applied to open invoices in the Oracle cash applications module.
Additional Responsibilities
Support implementation of new systems and platforms.
Participate in development of new workflows.
Manage projects related to ERPs and CRMs (Oracle, Salesforce, etc.).
Provide support to sales and other departments.
Implementation of AI tools.
Ad hoc projects.
We’re looking for someone with:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5-8 years of collections and customer service experience, preferably in SaaS industries.
International collections and managing high profile accounts experience required.
Intermediate experience utilizing an ERP System (Oracle Preferred).
Intermediate experience utilizing a CRM System (Salesforce).
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in the work place (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT).
Ability to understand, simplify and communicate complex functionality to customers, partners and colleagues.
Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
In CA, the base salary range for this role is $67,000 – $77,000.
Actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
