Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst join our growing team!   

  

Position Summary 

We are looking for a business intelligence analyst to join our teamThe ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented person who loves getting to know a data set, is a curious and enthusiastic problem solver, and has excellent communication skills. 

 

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI Analyst to help drive the technical vision and build and manage data-driven business intelligence products that enable streamlined decision-making for our clients. As a part of the team, you will partner closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to build intuitive and well-designed dashboards and automated reporting solutions.  

 

This is a growth position, so we are looking for people who are eager to learn about new technologies and tools. Our engineering team is a collaborative interdisciplinary team that includes data analytics, data science, machine learning, data engineering, and software engineering. 

  

This role can be located in New York City, Chicago, or Austin. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Effective collaboration with a remote team. Leverage Slack, Teams, email, and online video calls to be actively involved in our team, our work, and our customers. 
  • Develop and maintain client and internal facing data visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI and Databricks Dashboards/Genie that provide business users with self-service access to data insights.  
  • Collect business requirements and translate them into actionable build plans and acceptance criteria.  Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, test and maintain BI dashboard solutions.  
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists for data understanding, modeling, ETL, and data governance 
  • Technical documentation of process and configuration 
  • Stay informed of trends and new releases from leading BI and data management platformsContinued professional development.

What you should have:

  • 8+ years in a data analyst, data analytics or business intelligence role 
  • 8+ years experience in enterprise data visualization platform (Tableau, PowerBI) 
  • 8+ years of SQL experience for data retrieval and modeling  
  • 8+ Experience with data visualization tools like Looker / Tableau / Power BI 
  • Expertise in using PowerBI for dashboards, ETL, PPT automation, and integration 
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization 
  • Ability to lead and complete projects independently once given objective and direction.  
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize work, and communicate progress.  
  • Creative problem solving - Ability to independently look for resourceful solutions and enhancements, and communicate any issues timely if they arise, and present solutions to the problems.  
  • Strong communication skills to partner with client success, data engineer, UX and analytics teams to collect technical and business requirements.  
  • Ability to translate non technical needs into technical and business requirements 
  • Can bring the mindset of an analyst to inform how dashboards and visualizations are created to maximize value for end analyst users 

 

Nice to have  

  • Experience with Python for data analysis  
  • Experience with PySpark and Databricks  
  • Experience in healthcare or marketing data extraction, transformation and normalization 
  • Experience with Github 

Pay Range: $115,000.00-$140,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work.
