Role Overview:

 

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant that thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments to join our growing team! The role will play an integral part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and partnering cross-functionally across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong accounting judgment and executes at high velocity without compromising accuracy. You will serve as a key contributor to month-end close and other high-impact accounting initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own high volume day-to-day accounting operations, including T&E processing, general ledger activity, cash management, and compliance with company policies.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close process including preparation and review of complex journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset capitalization, prepaid expense tracking and amortization, and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, including intercompany transactions, trial balance review, technical accounting research, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational alignment.
  • Support annual audit initiatives by preparing and delivering timely, accurate documentation to external auditors.
  • Drive increased efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing new workflows, AI automation, and systems to streamline operations.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and support ongoing projects as needed.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with a blend of public (Big Four preferred) and private experience at a start-up/high-growth technology company

Preferred Requirements:

  • CPA preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP Systems (i.e. Netsuite)
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to navigate the demands of a fast-paced, ever-changing start-up environment.
  • Passionate about accounting operations and growth, with a hands-on, roll-up-your sleeves mentality!

Salary Range: $110k - $125k

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
