About the Company
Our client is a well-established real estate company with a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team and take ownership of property-level accounting functions, including Yardi reporting and CAM reconciliations.

Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets. This individual will ensure accurate financial reporting, perform detailed CAM reconciliations, and maintain compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in Yardi and property management accounting.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close.
Prepare and review CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and tenant billings.
Perform monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis and supporting schedules.
Ensure accuracy of property-level financial statements and compliance with GAAP.
Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and intercompany accounts.
Manage and analyze property budgets, forecasts, and operating expenses.
Collaborate with property managers, asset managers, and external auditors.
Maintain accounting data and reporting within Yardi Voyager (or other Yardi systems).
Support annual audit and tax preparation processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
Strong proficiency in Yardi (required).
Solid understanding of CAM reconciliations and property accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus.
