As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high-performing Senior Account Executive to drive new business acquisition, develop strategic relationships, and help organizations transform their SAP landscapes.

Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for generating new revenue by identifying, developing, and closing complex enterprise opportunities. This role will focus on selling Protera's portfolio of SAP-related consulting, managed services, cloud hosting, SAP Basis services, SAP modernization initiatives, and SAP cloud transformation solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience selling enterprise technology solutions, managed services, cloud infrastructure, SAP services, or ERP-related solutions and thrives in a consultative, relationship-driven sales environment.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Prospect and engage executive-level decision makers including CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Infrastructure leaders, and SAP stakeholders.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close.
  • Identify opportunities related to:
    • SAP Managed Services
    • SAP Basis Administration
    • SAP Cloud Migration
    • SAP RISE Advisory & Adoption
    • SAP Infrastructure Modernization
    • Application Management Services (AMS)
    • Public Cloud and Hyperscaler Solutions
  • Build strong relationships with customer executives and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, delivery teams, and executive leadership to craft winning proposals and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within CRM.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Participate in industry conferences, SAP events, and customer-facing activities.
  • Coordinate with partner organizations including SAP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
  • Proven success selling managed services, professional services, cloud, infrastructure, ERP, or SAP-related solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual quota targets.
  • Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple decision makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling SAP services, SAP cloud solutions, or ERP consulting services.
  • Knowledge of SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, or SAP infrastructure hosting.
  • Existing relationships within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Experience working alongside technical presales and solution architecture teams.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC, Challenger Sale, or similar enterprise sales methodologies.

In your first 12 months, you will:

  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline capable of supporting annual revenue targets.
  • Consistently generate new logo opportunities.
  • Expand strategic relationships within existing customer accounts.
  • Successfully close net-new managed services and cloud transformation opportunities.
  • Become a trusted advisor for customers navigating SAP modernization initiatives.
