About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own and build a new account based marketing function that targets large, high-value accounts. Work side by side with sales leadership to plan and run tailored campaigns that generate new opportunities and help key deals progress, then report on what worked.

What you'll do

- Define the account based marketing approach for the largest strategic and enterprise accounts, with responsibility for pipeline and revenue results.

- Stand up the program from the ground up and carry it from early concept into live execution.

- Collaborate with enterprise sellers and sales leaders on account planning, stakeholder mapping, gap analysis and coordinated outreach to multiple contacts.

- Create and run tailored campaigns for individual accounts and small account clusters, using a mix of direct outreach, digital channels, gifts, in-person events and credible proof from existing customers.

- Plan and deliver coordinated account campaigns tied to major company moments such as product releases, industry events and customer stories, and evaluate the outcomes.

- Monitor account engagement, stakeholder coverage, influenced deals, win rates and spend per priority account, and use the findings to refine the program.

- Work with revenue operations and apply AI and account intelligence tools to personalize at scale without losing quality.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Hands-on experience building and running tailored account based marketing programs for large accounts.

- Background marketing into larger accounts with six-figure deal values and lengthy, complex sales processes.

- Experience in B2B SaaS marketing across account based marketing, demand generation or field marketing, ideally about 5 or more years, though strong high-growth candidates with less may be considered.

- Solid grasp of how large organizations make purchasing decisions and how to engage senior stakeholders over a long sales process.

- Practical experience with common marketing and sales platforms, including a CRM, outreach tooling and account intelligence software.

- Ability to work hybrid in San Francisco, 3 days per week on-site.

- Comfort building a program from nothing and partnering directly with sales leaders.

Bonus points

- Practical experience using AI to support account research, tailoring, planning and campaign work.

- Background in healthtech or a healthcare-adjacent industry.

- Experience blending demand generation, field marketing or growth marketing with account based marketing.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
