Seasonal Wireless Testing Technician (August 2026 - January 2027)

Perform hands-on SAR and RF testing of wireless devices using robot-assisted systems and RF test equipment. Follow defined test plans, record and report results, examine samples, communicate with customers during setup, and develop practical knowledge of instrumentation and lab procedures. Work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, safety-focused lab environment.

Seasonal Shifts & Schedules
SAR Testing (September- January)
- Automated robot-assisted testing of wireless devices.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days/week
- 1st Shift: 6am-6pm
- 2nd Shift: 6pm-6am
RF Testing (September- January)
- Hands-on testing using state-of-the-art RF equipment across various technologies.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 5 days/week
- 1st Shift: 4:30am-4:30pm
- 2nd Shift: 4:30pm-4:30am
*Hours vary during training periods and throughout the internship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluating test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results.
- Recording and explaining test results and complete test report for Engineering staff.
- Examining customer samples and learning to operate basic tests for each case.
- Following defined test plans and datasheets.
- Communicating with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.
- Developing a working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old at time of application.
- Indefinite right to work in the U.S.
- No prior experience required-comprehensive training provided.
- Must be able to work onsite in Fremont, CA (relocation not provided).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Fremont office
What we offer:
- Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The hourly rate for this position is $21 plus overtime and pay differential for 2nd shift.
