KATBOTZ LLC is looking for a mid-level SAP Integration & Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API development and integration, and full-stack application development.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across SAP and non-SAP environments, developing end-to-end integrations, building applications and APIs, connecting enterprise systems such as SAP and Zoho, and troubleshooting complex integration and application issues.

This role is well suited for someone who is not purely an SAP CPI consultant or purely a full-stack developer, but can work across integration, backend, frontend, APIs, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure, and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI).
  • Design, develop, consume, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, with a good understanding of API architecture, lifecycle, security, and management.
  • Build and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Zoho, and other SAP/non-SAP applications.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and supporting components.
  • Work with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and frontend technologies as required.
  • Develop, test, debug, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integration flows, APIs, and application services.
  • Handle data transformation, mapping, routing, filtering, error handling, authentication, authorization, logging, and monitoring within integration solutions.
  • Work with JSON, XML, OData, HTTP, REST, SOAP, and other integration protocols and data formats.
  • Implement and work with API security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, certificates, authentication, and authorization.
  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems with Zoho applications, including Zoho CRM and other relevant Zoho business applications, using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and other appropriate integration mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with applications that do not expose standard APIs, using alternative approaches such as SFTP, file-based integrations, scheduled data exchanges, webhooks, database connectivity, or other suitable integration methods.
  • Evaluate integration requirements and determine the most appropriate integration approach based on the capabilities, limitations, security requirements, and architecture of the source and target systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes and connect systems across SAP, Zoho, and other enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams, developers, architects, business stakeholders, and external technology teams to understand requirements and deliver integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot integration and application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering integration architecture, configurations, interfaces, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and support guidelines.
  • Provide technical training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal team members on SAP Integration Suite, APIs, integration patterns, troubleshooting, monitoring, and development best practices.
  • Train and support internal employees to build the organization's capability to independently maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations and applications.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in IT development, integration, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
  • Strong understanding of API development, REST, SOAP, API integration, and API architecture.
  • Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with other SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Strong programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Java.
  • Good understanding of full-stack application development concepts.
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or SAP UI5 is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, OData, data transformation, and data mapping.
  • Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD processes.
  • Understanding of cloud-based application and integration architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, certificates, and API security concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical, functional, and business teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and provide knowledge transfer to non-technical and technical team members.
Good to Have
  • Experience with SAP BTP.
  • Experience with SAP API Management.
  • Experience with SAP Event Mesh and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori / SAP UI5.
  • Experience integrating third-party and cloud applications with SAP.
  • Experience integrating Zoho CRM or other Zoho applications with SAP or third-party systems.
  • Experience working with webhooks, SFTP, file-based integrations, database integrations, scheduled data exchanges, or other integration approaches for systems without standard APIs.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with technical training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
  • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.

The candidate should be comfortable working with both API-enabled and non-API applications and be able to determine the appropriate integration approach when standard APIs are not available.

The ideal candidate should also have a knowledge-sharing mindset and be willing to train and mentor internal team members, document solutions, and help build long-term technical capabilities within the organization.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Exposure to SAP, AI, cloud technologies, enterprise integrations, and modern application development.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
