About the Role:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Salesperson to join our team. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional customer service. You will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge. Your success in this role will directly impact the overall success of our business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, constructions, fire, or heavy equipment.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the construction, or fire and life safety industry preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and research new business opportunities and potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, social media, and databases.
    • Qualify leads and generate new prospects to build a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
    • Use a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and present appropriate solutions.
  • Sales and Negotiation:
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to potential clients.
    • Actively close sales through strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, ensuring successful conversions from leads to paying customers.
    • Work closely with internal teams to create customized solutions that meet client requirements and add value to their business.
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships:
    • Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts, including C-suite executives, managers, and other stakeholders.
    • Build trust and rapport with new clients by offering solutions that align with their business goals.
    • Maintain regular communication with leads and prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Sales Targets and Reporting:
    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.
    • Track all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM software and ensure accurate reporting.
    • Provide regular updates to management regarding sales progress, market trends, and feedback from clients.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
    • Continuously monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies and tactics.
    • Provide insights into customer needs, competitor strengths, and market gaps to inform the company’s product and service offerings.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with the marketing and business development teams to align sales strategies and ensure the smooth execution of campaigns and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the account management and operations teams to ensure a seamless handoff and onboarding of new clients.

Skills:

As a Salesperson, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and drive sales. You will also need to be highly organized and able to manage your time effectively to meet sales targets. Additionally, proficiency in using CRM software and being bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred qualifications that will help you succeed in this role.
