GTX Solutions, a CourtAvenue Company, is a boutique consulting firm focused on helping brands unlock the power of their customer data. We specialize in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), real-time activation, personalization, and MarTech integrations. Our team blends strategic insight with technical expertise to drive measurable business outcomes for high-growth companies and global enterprises alike.

GTX Solutions leads data activation and delivery for enterprise CRM programs on the Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud and Data 360, spanning email, SMS and direct mail. Our teams take over, stabilize and modernize live, high-volume programs, improving journeys, decisioning and measurement over time.

The Salesforce Solution Architect leads platform strategy and architecture for the program across the Salesforce stack. This role sets the platform roadmap, defines architecture and configuration standards, oversees journey and integration builds, and ensures the platform scales reliably and cost-effectively as the program grows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap for the program across Marketing Cloud, Data 360 and related capabilities, including personalization and AI features.
  • Define architecture and configuration standards, including business units, data extensions, automations, integrations and environment governance.
  • Assess the current-state platform during transition: document journeys, automations, suppression logic and configuration, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee journey design and build so entry, exit, suppression and prioritization logic is sound, documented and testable.
  • Design integrations between the customer data foundation, Data 360, Marketing Cloud and downstream channels including email, SMS and direct mail.
  • Monitor and manage platform consumption, including Data 360 credits, and design cost-aware refresh and activation patterns.
  • Oversee email deliverability, including domain and IP reputation, inbox placement and coordination with other senders on shared domains.
  • Design automation for recurring program processes, such as incentive and offer updates, to reduce manual effort and risk.
  • Establish QA and deployment standards and runbooks with the delivery team.
  • Evaluate and recommend new platform capabilities, features and licensing, and lead the technical relationship with the platform vendor.
  • Partner with the Customer Data Architect on data models, identity and audience inputs, and with CRM strategy and operations on requirements and send readiness.
  • Guide and mentor solutions engineers and journey builders on the team.
  •

Requirements

  • 8+ years in marketing technology architecture or CRM platform engineering, including at least 5 years hands-on with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud), including data streams, data model objects, identity resolution, segmentation and activation.
  • Deep knowledge of Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, data extensions, AMPscript and SQL.
  • Experience designing integrations using APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect and data pipelines.
  • Experience with email deliverability, IP warming and sender reputation management.
  • Track record of taking over, stabilizing and improving a live, high-volume CRM program.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, Data Cloud Consultant or Architect credentials.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization, Einstein features or Agentforce.
  • Experience with other enterprise platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze or Tealium.
  • Automotive or dealer-network CRM experience.
  • Background in MarTech consulting or agency delivery.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.

Work Environment

  • This role supports an enterprise CRM program on the Salesforce platform.
  • The role requires close coordination with client marketing, technology and data teams; occasional travel or on-site presence may be required.
  • Southern California preferred, in the San Diego or Los Angeles area, to support in-person collaboration with client and partner teams.
  • GTX Solutions has team members across the United States.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
