Role Definition:
- A Salesforce Application Specialist is a professional who deeply understands the Salesforce platform and works with businesses to implement, configure, and maintain the CRM system to meet their specific needs, including analysing business requirements, designing solutions, customizing features, providing user training, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal usage of the platform. Candidates should have 5+ years of Salesforce experience and salesforce platform developer certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Development experience
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) & Aura Components
- Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript
- Data Modeling & Integration (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, etc.)
- Security & Compliance (OAuth, SSO, Role-based Access, GDPR/CCPA)
- UX/UI development for Digital Experiences
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, UX/UI designers, and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Train internal teams on Experience Cloud capabilities and administration.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends.

- Proficient in Salesforce Loyalty Management Platform configuration, design, and customization.
- Skilled in building and managing Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) sites, including theming, branding, and component development.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud setup, journey orchestration, email studio, and campaign automation.
- Strong expertise in the following clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
- Experience defining technical solutions, gathering systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Salesforce Development:
- Understanding of Salesforce declarative tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
- Proficient knowledge of Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Familiarity with Salesforce APIs for integrations with external systems.
Functional and Soft Skills:
Business Analysis and Stakeholder Management:
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service departments.

Training and Documentation:

Education and Experience:
- A 4-year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.
- 5+ years of technical work experience in Salesforce, strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, and hands-on experience with salesforce APEX custom development (Experience Cloud)
- One or more Salesforce.com (SFDC) certifications with advanced certifications - Certified Platform Developer I preferred.
