Business Process Improvement and Request Management

  • Act as the primary intake point for Salesforce enhancement requests from business teams
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business impact, and translate needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Prioritize requests, document recommendations, and balance short-term support with long-term platform maintainability
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve adoption, reduce manual work, and strengthen governance

Sales Operations, CPQ, and Productivity

  • Administer and optimize Salesforce CPQ, including product setup, pricing, quoting, approvals, renewals, and related support processes
  • Support lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
  • Configure and support Sales Engagement / Cadences and related productivity workflows
  • Partner with Sales leadership and end users to improve process efficiency, visibility, and data integrity

Integrations and Data Management

  • Support and coordinate Salesforce integrations with third-party systems, including analytics, marketing, and operational platforms
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data flow between Salesforce and external systems
  • Partner with internal technical teams and vendors to maintain reliable integrations, resolve sync issues, and improve data quality
  • Support integration-related configuration, field mapping, data validation, and operational troubleshooting
  • Experience with Domo-related reporting, writeback, or integration workflows is strongly preferred; HubSpot integration experience is a plus

Reporting and Analytics

  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards for leadership and business teams
  • Support reporting for sales performance, marketing attribution, service operations, and platform adoption
  • Ensure reporting is built on reliable, governed data and aligns with business definitions

Governance, Documentation, and Change Management

  • Establish and follow best practices for Salesforce administration, documentation, release management, and production change control
  • Support sandbox testing, deployment readiness, and regression validation for configuration changes
  • Maintain clear documentation for system behavior, automation, access, and support processes
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and recommend improvements aligned to business priorities

Required Qualifications

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
