Job Summary
As our Salesforce Administrator, you will influence the global Salesforce implementation and shape how the platform drives revenue across the business. Partnering with Central Operations, you will translate sales, marketing, and finance priorities into scalable Salesforce solutions — anticipating what the business will need next, not just responding to what it needs today.

Essential Job Functions

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, Flow automation, and sharing rules.
  • Run day-to-day Salesforce operations: user management, custom objects and fields, page layouts, bulk data migration, and AppExchange installation and support.
  • Administer access for a 700-user org using permission sets and permission set groups and maintain the role hierarchy and sharing model.
  • Identify and implement new Salesforce features in response to evolving business needs.
  • Document technical requirements and prepare change-control documentation.
  • Translate sales and marketing strategy, business goals, and processes into working Salesforce solutions.
  • Partner with IT to resolve technical and Salesforce functional issues for users’ company-wide, manage data loads, monitor data quality, and train users on new functionality.
  • Audit the existing Salesforce implementation and recommend improvements against best practice.
  • Enforce data retention policies to keep the org within its data and file storage limits.
  • Able to work well within a team, communicate well and meet deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • +2 years supporting an org of 500 or more users across multiple business functions
  • Demonstrated ownership of a production org through multiple Salesforce seasonal releases
  • Hands-on expertise building automation in Flow (record-triggered, screen, and scheduled), including migration of legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder
  • Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited Edition experience, including custom objects, Flow automation, and validation rules
  • Advanced Excel skills, and ideally SOQL, for data manipulation, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Experience gathering requirements from and presenting to VP-level stakeholders, defining an implementation plan, and orchestrating org updates end to end
  • Experience with data cleanup and ongoing data-quality maintenance, including duplicate and matching rules
  • Experience with enterprise data tools such as Data Loader, Validity DemandTools, or Salesforce Inspector
  • Ability to read Apex and SOQL and work within platform governor limits; Lightning Web Component or Visualforce exposure
  • Change and release management experience: sandbox strategy, UAT, and deployment via change sets, DevOps Center, or a tool such as Gearset or Copado
  • Experience supporting integrations across a connected app ecosystem — Conga CPQ or billing, marketing automation (Account Engagement, Marketo, HubSpot), ERP (D365), CTI, and Jira
  • Exposure to Einstein, Agentforce, or Data Cloud
  • Experience running user enablement for a distributed user base: training, documentation, and adoption tracking

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
