Regional Sales Representative (Educational Sales)
Beyond Grades. Beyond Tests. Beyond Tutoring. Revolution Prep.
Revolution Prep, the nation’s best and most innovative tutoring firm, has new opportunities for experienced sales professionals in multiple locations across the country. Our sales professionals, known as Academic Advisors (AAs), are primarily responsible for generating sales of tutoring programs, to be delivered by our faculty of amazing full time tutors.
We have envisioned the role as an independently run small business, but without many of the operational challenges. This role provides expert advice and guidance on our academic programs that put their students’ needs first. We maintain the highest ethical standards, and expect our sales professionals to uphold the integrity and trust of our brand.
At Revolution, we pride ourselves foremost on the quality of our tutors, but also on the quality of our sales and customer service processes. The first prerequisite for our tutors is a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our students, and the same goes for our sales professionals.
The Job
At Revolution, your primary mission is to be a trusted resource to the community. We provide extensive training on how to advise parents on the nuances of standardized testing and academic growth, and we have a deep set of resources at your disposal. Ultimately, our AAs are experts in their field, and it is through the expression of this expertise that our AAs build relationships with connectors in their community from school personnel to sports team leaders to country clubs or religious groups.
AAs are expected to generate their own leads and, through a highly consultative process, help families learn what types of support would be most appropriate for their children. AAs are responsible for the sales and ongoing customer service needs of their clients.
Of course, the most effective AAs are very comfortable with generating proposals and closing sales. Programs range in price from $299 up to several thousand dollars.
