About the job

The Creative Account Manager serves as the client’s voice when developing and executing advertising campaigns through creative services including e-commerce web design, graphic design, and creative social media ads. They help ensure the efforts of various team members (web designers, UX designers, and other creatives) and components align with the client's goals. They are responsible for developing new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. Account managers are the backbone of client relationships.

 

The AM will be responsible for the day-to-day communication with clients as well as weekly recurring calls. You will work with creative and account leads, freelance designers, development teams, video, and digital production as well as our strategy and media teams to ensure all departments are in close communications throughout every step of a project by effectively communicating client needs and expectations.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Report performance of all creative projects, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Create timelines and take necessary steps to hold clients and internal teams accountable for deadlines
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to present ideas with conviction
  • Able to present creative designs and walk a client through creative work
  • Meet with clients and internal staff to discuss strategy and report on progress
  • Ensure client requirements are met, account managers need to work closely with colleagues, including media buyers, email experts, sales and administrative staff
  • Strong customer service and client management experience
  • Able to maintain an efficient and process-focused workflow while ensuring projects are completed timely and reviewed by the proper decision-makers.

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with project and time management
  • Ability to present ideas, negotiate, and problem solve
  • Exceptional project management skill and the ability to collaborate with a team
  • Work with the sales team to be a liaison between the creative department
  • Digitally-native. Up to speed with how brands leverage digital apps, products, services, social/digital marketing tools to more effectively reach, engage and serve consumers at every stage
  • Strong understanding of UX and web design principles and be able to easily articulate this
  • Leadership: ensures availability to staff, team building, building rapport with individuals, encouraging strong collaborative relationships between individuals and departments, facilitating a healthy work/life mix, solicits and applies feedback (internal and external to team)
  • Creative process management with a hands-on approach acting as a company-wide liaison between multiple departments including services, marketing, and sales for all creative requests.
