About the Role:

As Account Executive, you will play an invaluable role in Papaya’s growth strategy. You’ll be an individual contributor focused on closing new business, selling and conducting demos to qualified leads. You’ll also leverage your own prospecting skills to bolster your pipeline, all the while contributing to best practices that support the success of your greater team. Success in this role means driving an effective sales process to hit (and exceed) your quarterly goals.

What you would be doing: 

  • Establish measurable success in prospecting, qualifying and closing new accounts
  • Monitor and sustain a robust pipeline of qualified new business opportunities
  • Engage with decision makers and executives about their business needs to qualify opportunities
  • Be proactive with potential accounts, listening and learning to anticipate their needs through a consultative, expertise-driven sales process

We’d like to hear from candidates with: 

  • Sales Experience. Proven track record in full-cycle sales, hitting and exceeding quotas. 
  • Confident Communication. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, comes naturally to you. You’re persuasive, can stand your ground, and convey value. 
  • Agility. You’re positive and persistent in the face of adversity and thrive in ever-changing environments. 
  • Curiosity. You have a track record of experimenting, receiving feedback, and learning new things. 
  • A Bias for Action. You’re results-oriented and and don’t give up easily. 

A high standard of integrity and a strong work ethic, paired with effective prioritization and organizational skills are also needed. We’d be especially excited if you have prior knowledge of Salesforce or any other CRM. If you have prior experience in Fintech and/or Healthtech, don’t forget to mention it.
