Summary

The Sales Support Officer is a key member of the Sales Support Group providing support for the successful planning and implementation for key activities and client events that support the Bank’s Vision, Mission, Critical Few, and Supporting Strategies / Initiatives. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Complies with, and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job. 
  • Work closely with the various Sales Support Group teams with a focus on customer expansion and retention.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales and campaign objectives.
  • Make sales support presentations and demonstrations.  Responsible for ensure that initiatives are met through preparation, timeliness, and utilization of Bank approved collateral material.  
  • Responsible for supporting the Bank’s various strategies and initiatives.
  • Track and monitor project plans for various events, group and Bank initiatives. 
  • Assist with group level monthly budget planning and monitoring.
  • Perform in-depth group level monthly reporting.
  • Assist with site and vendor research for various Bank sponsored events.
  • Assist with the contract negotiation process and due diligence.
  • Assist with vendor payments, billing projections, and reconciliation.
  • Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience                                             

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills                                            

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.   Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                  

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.   

 

Reasoning Ability                                                     

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Computer Software Skills                                                   

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong skills with use of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other project management software in mobile and non-mobile environments.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

Current driver’s license.

 

Other Skills and Abilities                                                     

  • Excellent organizational, time management, reporting, and budget management skills. 
  • Must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in decision-making. 
  • Must be proactive with all duties and projects assigned. 

 

 

Other Qualifications                                                 

Must be able to travel 25% of the time, by car or by plane.

Salary Range:$30.18 To 42.26 Hourly

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location.  This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
