Position Summary

The Sales Support Consultant role is an entry level position into a Fortune 500 Company that offers significant opportunities for career development and advancement. Healthcare is one of the largest industries in the United States and at Aetna it provides a dynamic, stable, and diverse workplace experience. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Consultant professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and processing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely and accurate responses that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and process incoming RFPs, ensuring all requirements are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive proposals.

  • Maintain accurate records of all RFPs and related documentation.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for RFP-related inquiries, both internally and externally.

  • Track and manage deadlines to ensure timely submission of proposals.

  • Ensure all proposals are of high quality and meet company standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, proposal management, or a related role.

  • 1-2 years experience in health insurance administration or related field.

  • California Accident and Health Insurance License or must be obtained within 90-days of hire.

  • Experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with insurance management software.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $42.35

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
