About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Federal Capture Manager to lead strategic capture efforts and proposal development for significant federal opportunities across civilian, defense, and intelligence community agencies. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing winning capture strategies and compelling proposals for high-priority federal pursuits, typically ranging from $5M to $30M+.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Capture Leadership
Lead end-to-end capture planning and execution for major federal opportunities, including development of comprehensive capture plans and win strategies
Orchestrate cross-functional capture teams including solutions architects, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, technical SMEs and general Federal GTM teams
Conduct competitive analysis and develop discriminating solutions that align with customer mission requirements
Build and maintain relationships with key federal customer stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers
Proposal Development & Management
Lead and contribute to proposal writing efforts, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements
Develop compelling executive summaries, management approaches, and past performance volumes
Review and edit technical volumes for clarity, consistency, and persuasiveness
Participate in team reviews and implement reviewer recommendations
Ensure proposal themes and win strategies are effectively incorporated throughout submissions
Opportunity Qualification & Pipeline Development
Qualify and validate strategic opportunities through market research and customer engagement
Develop and maintain opportunity pipelines with accurate documentation in Salesforce
Lead reviews and competitive assessments to inform capture strategies
Guide solution development and pricing strategies to optimize competitive positionProcess Leadership & Team Development
Implement industry best practices for capture management and proposal development
Maintain capture artifacts and knowledge management systems
Contribute to continuous improvement of capture and proposal processes
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in federal business development/capture management
Proven track record of leading successful captures of large federal opportunities ($5M+)
Exceptional proposal writing and editing skills
Deep understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations
Strong knowledge of the federal cybersecurity landscape
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working within cross-functional teams
Bonus Points:
Master's degree in relevant field
APMP certification
Experience with major IDIQ vehicles (e.g., SEWP, CIO-SP3, Alliant 2)
Prior experience in cybersecurity industry
Shipley or equivalent capture management training
Experience with federal pricing strategies and cost proposals
Proven success rate in proposal win ratio
Top Secret Clearance preferred

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
