The Sales Operations Coordinator manages order approvals, coordinates with internal teams, supports sales leads, and handles customer inquiries to ensure smooth operations.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to help keep things running smoothly between our retail and distribution partners and our internal teams. You’ll play a key role in managing the order approval process and supporting our Sales Leads, jumping in to help with customer inquiries, requests, and day-to-day coordination to keep everything on track. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Responsible for overseeing daily order approvals for >30 North American Retail and Distribution Customers, ensuring seamless collaboration with planning and logistics teams to facilitate timely order processing.
- Effectively coordinate and communicate order status with accounts, managing PO changes including extensions and ship window modifications as necessary.
- Support Sales Leads in maintaining accounts by executing various tasks such as item set up, managing customer paperwork, generating reports, and coordinating sample shipments.
- Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting issues between Customers and Internal teams, resolving conflicts promptly and efficiently.
- Initiate, manage, and execute special projects and cross-departmental process optimization that support internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
- Track and analyze Weekly Sales and Inventory reports
- Handle ad-hoc responsibilities as required, addressing evolving business needs.
WHAT WE NEED:
- Experience in Sales Operations, Account Management, Project Management, or a similar role
- Ability to manage multiple projects, requests, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment without letting details slip
- Comfortable working with tools like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
- Experience in CPG, mass retail, or specialty distribution is a plus
- Experience working with major retailers like Target or Walmart is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Brightpearl, SPS, or similar) is a plus
- Are a strong communicator who builds positive, collaborative relationships
- Enjoy problem-solving and finding ways to make things work better
- Stay highly organized and keep track of the details (even when things get busy)
