About the Role

As a Sales Enablement Specialist at GlossGenius, you will be a key contributor behind the success of our Revenue Organization, with a core focus on new hire ramp and proficiency. This role will be essential in scaling our go-to-market team by building and executing world-class enablement programs. While your primary focus will be owning the experience for new team members through Sales Onboarding, you'll also operate as a dynamic generalist, flexing into ongoing enablement needs as our business and product suite evolve. This is a highly cross-functional role that is critical to ensuring our team is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools to meet and exceed their targets.

You will report to the Director, Revenue Operations. We default to being in-office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What You'll Do

  • Own and Optimize Sales Onboarding: Design, manage, and execute the complete learning journey for our Account Executives (AEs), including new hire onboarding and career pathing, to ensure a structured, engaging, and measurable ramp-up
  • Drive Ongoing Excellence: Develop and deliver training programs on key sales methodologies, platform features, process updates, and tech stack utilization to ensure our existing team is equipped to maximize their performance
  • Facilitate Blended Learning: Deliver engaging training through a mix of self-paced online modules, interactive virtual live sessions, hands-on practice workshops, and role-playing to accelerate ramp time and develop crucial selling skills
  • Assess and Coach: Conduct skills gap analyses and evaluate training effectiveness by analyzing performance data, listening to recorded calls (e.g., using Gong or similar tools), and facilitating coaching sessions with sales managers to reinforce learning and drive performance improvements
  • Develop Core Resources: Partner with Marketing and Product teams to create and maintain high-quality digital assets, including Sales Playbooks, LMS content, e-learning courses and compelling multimedia materials that support continuous learning
  • Maximize Tool Adoption: Promote adoption and proficiency of our core sales technology stack (e.g., Hubspot, Salesloft, Gong) to ensure the team can operate efficiently and effectively
  • Track Impact: Continuously monitor and analyze the effectiveness of all Sales Onboarding and other training initiatives, using data to iterate and ensure a culture of continuous improvement across the Revenue team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in sales enablement, sales, or client success roles, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies, with the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Eagerness to discover and learn new technologies and methods to better enable sales teams
  • Experience with content management and learning management systems a plus

Benefits & Perks

  • Flexible PTO
  • Competitive health & dental insurance options, with premiums partially or fully covered by GG
  • In-person opportunities that are designed to help team members foster collaboration and build community (ie; working out of a co-working space, team dinners, and other team building activities)
  • Fertility and adoption benefits via Carrot
  • Generous, fully-paid parental leave policy
  • 401k benefit - employees are eligible to contribute starting day 1 of employment
  • Professional Development - employees receive a yearly stipend for approved learning and educational-related expenses
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Dependent Care FSA
  • Home office support

The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $115,000 - $135,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

At GlossGenius, we celebrate our differences and are committed to creating a workplace where all employees feel supported and empowered to do their best work. We believe this benefits not only our employees but our product, customers, and community as well. GlossGenius is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
