Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the North American Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and accountability for success.
- Develop and implement territory plans, ensuring each team member has a clear strategy for achieving sales targets.
- Own a personal sales quota and drive new business acquisition, while supporting the team in meeting collective goals.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, development, and retention of sales talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product, Solution Engineering, and Account Management to support sales initiatives and drive innovation.
- Champion new business sales, articulate sales strategy, and report on progress toward targets.
- Utilize advanced sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce.com, Demandbase, Salesloft, ZoomInfo) to enhance prospecting and efficiency.
- Build and standardize onboarding and ramp-up schedules for new sellers, ensuring rapid integration and productivity.
- Provide accurate forecasting for quarterly and annual sales performance.
- Support list building, messaging, and product innovation efforts as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management within a growth-stage or scaling company.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales teams to achieve their full potential.
- Advanced skills in territory planning, quota achievement, and sales strategy execution.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with sales technology platforms, including Salesforce.com, Demandbase, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo, as well as other tools that support prospecting and sales efficiency.
- Strong track record of acquiring new business while managing a team of sellers.
- High retention rate of direct reports and experience building successful onboarding programs.
- Exceptional forecasting skills for sales performance.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and operations teams.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, including geographically distributed teams.
