The Role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and building rapport with prospective customers through outbound outreach and inbound lead qualification. This role is primarily responsible for building pipeline that will ultimately lead to new Nabla customers and pre-call planning and research to ensure targeted, value led outreach.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting a wide range of strategic and tactical tasks each week, including but not limited to:

  • Screening and triaging inbound leads, making first contact with a segment of them

  • Coordinated prospecting into our ideal customer profile accounts to set up meetings introducing them to Nabla with our sales reps and driving new pipeline

  • Events research & outreach to coordinate meetings for our sales team

  • Account mapping and research to help prioritize top targets

  • Understand prospect and customer needs through research, discovery and qualification

  • Liaise with the Sales Team to determine target market. Co-manage sales territories and develop territory plans and a strategy with Sales to achieve new customer and revenue growth targets

  • Continually maintain and expand your database/funnel of target accounts, prospects and opportunities within your territories

  • Partner with Marketing to understand and leverage their initiatives, and Sales to tackle territory targets and goals

  • Track and manage all of your activity and outreach in Hubspot CRM

  • Maintain all account, opportunity, contact and lead records in CRM

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We’re hiring for mindset here, we’ll teach you the rest! Specifically, we’re looking for:

  • College degree OR 1+ years in a sales role

  • A passion for healthtech, and how technology can improve healthcare for clinicians and patients

  • Innate curiosity for how sales, process, and startups work - and the matching drive to contribute to these things

  • Driven to meet and exceed goals and be an engine that fuels our sales pipeline through robust outbound prospecting

  • Drawn to sales as a craft and as a machine, and an interest in learning about and contributing to all aspects of what makes a sales team function well

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Organized, punctual, detail-oriented
