JOB SUMMARY

  

We have a position available for an Sales Development Representative (SDR) within the Finastra Sales division in Lake Mary, Florida. This is an exciting demand generation opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who wants to develop their sales career within a leading financial services software organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as Sales Development Representative will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Executing calling campaigns to target opportunities within new and existing client base.
  • Owning and managing demand generation targets, forecast and performance
  • Identifying customer needs and mapping the right solutions to their needs for both new name and cross sell opportunities
  • Manages customer expectations and effectively communicates change internally/externally
  • Proactively reaching out to internal stakeholders to build and strengthen existing and new relationships
  • Taking initiative to encourage communications among others that increases the overall effectiveness of the business
  • Using tools and technologies to improve process efficiency and regulary reviewing and updating CRM
  • Employee is able to exercise a great deal of independent judgment to there day to day activity.
  • Individual has discretion in their conversation with clients, including various methods of persuasion to sell products
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
 

  • Manage and qualify a high-velocity pipeline of new and existing leads through inbound and outbound channels
  • Maintain active engagement with leads to increase customer interest in our offerings and value propositions through creative, consultative communications
  • Collaborate closely with account executives to not only qualify leads, but also to ensure we’re engaging with the right leads in the right accounts

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Ability to build and grow relationships.
  • Strong tenacity and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of financial institutions internal operations.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years of experience within sales, sales support, business development or within a call center (inbound or outbound) highly preferred.
  • Banking, Finance or Software background required.
  • Superior communication skills that demonstrate mastery of the English language (both orally and written).

  • Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication.
  • Position involves mostly sedentary work, exerting a negligible amount of effort to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.  Work involves sitting most of the time.
  • Ability to see and operate a computer.

  • Work is a hybrid environment, coming into the office 2+ days.
