Role Description

What is a life in the day of me as Sales Development Representative at Recom? The ideal candidate will engage with target prospects to build new business for the company. The candidate should have experience prospecting through various channels including phone, email and LinkedIn. We are seeking a self-starter and team-oriented individual who will bring passion and dedication to one of the fastest growing companies in the US. This role requires an individual with the unique ability to attend to details, dig in and get things done. The most successful candidate will be an effective communicator, both verbally and with written correspondence, possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance, and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround. You must be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. A successful candidate will be motivated, organized, and a creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business opportunities. In this role you will report directly to the Sales Development Manager and will be based at the Company’s office in Deerfield, FL. This is an in-person, office-based role. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and own business development targets within assigned vertical markets
  • Drive Recom's business development efforts through cold calling and email initiatives to schedule introductory calls with a Business Development Executive or VP, Strategic Partnership
  • Implement calling strategies for high potential prospects (call script, voicemail and follow up)
  • Maintain contact and post-outreach follow up to ensure success and continuity

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of proven success in a lead generation or inside sales role, preferably relationship-based and a track record of achieving prospecting/meeting/sales goals, preferably in Consumer Goods 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to relentlessly pursue sales targets with; competitive nature is a plus
  • Consumer Goods experience or other high turnover categories and deep understanding of e-commerce as a channel
  • Exceptional communication skills, for audiences both familiar and unfamiliar with the Amazon marketplace / ecosystem
  • Extremely well organized and able to multitask. You will be required to drive multiple initiatives at one time, adapt to evolving priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and should be able to work at senior levels of management both internally and externally
  • Experience using CRM Platform
  • Strong computer skills; proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
