Our SDR team is a dynamic mix of hardworking individuals who balance dedication with genuine curiosity. They approach challenges with energy and creativity, always seeking innovative ways to connect with prospects. For us, the grind is about more than hard work; it’s about fostering a positive vibe that makes each day enjoyable.
About the Role:
At Consensus, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
What You’ll Do:
● Account Research & Targeting: Conduct in-depth research on assigned target accounts, identifying key decision-makers, pain points, and company initiatives to inform personalized outreach strategies.
● Outbound Prospecting: Engage with prospects through a multi-channel approach, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and social media interactions. Use a highly tailored approach to connect with executives and other stakeholders at high-value accounts.
● Personalized Outreach: Develop customized messaging for each prospect, based on account research and key pain points. Craft emails, LinkedIn messages, and call scripts that resonate with their specific needs and challenges.
● Relationship Building: Build rapport with prospects, initiate conversations, and nurture leads until they are qualified for further engagement by the sales team. Leverage professional networks to expand reach within accounts.
● Lead Qualification: Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, qualify them against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and schedule discovery meetings for the Account Executive team.
● Data & CRM Management: Meticulously track all interactions, notes, and next steps within our CRM (HubSpot). Ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate for seamless hand-offs to the sales team.
● Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals, including calls, emails, and Qualified meetings booked. Regularly review metrics to refine and optimize outreach strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
● High School diploma required
● Preferred 1+ years of outbound sales development experience, with a history of exceeding KPIs
● Strong communication skills via phone and email
● Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
● Dedicated office or quiet place where work can be done
