Job Description

We are seeking motivated and ambitious early-career Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help drive pipeline growth for our Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) business across the U.S.

This role is designed as an entry point into a long-term sales career, offering structured development and dedicated sales training to direct hands-on experience, and clear progression into a revenue-generating Business Development Officer (BDO) position. It is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to break into B2B sales within a high-growth, recession-resilient industry.

As an SDR, you will build foundational sales skills in prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling while partnering closely with experienced sales professionals. High performers in this role will have a defined pathway into a BDO role with direct ownership of client relationships and revenue targets.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating and qualifying new leads through outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and prospecting activities.
  • Building and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities to support sales targets and regional growth objectives.
  • Engaging target personas through phone, email, and other digital channels.
  • Applying qualification frameworks (e.g. BANT) to assess and prioritize leads before handing off to Sales.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment on target accounts, campaigns, and messaging.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), including prospect interactions, lead status, and pipeline activity.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree is required.  Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales (inside/outside), customer-facing roles, internships in sales environments
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • High motivation, resilience, and a “hunter/closer” mentality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a competitive, goal-driven attitude
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish

Additional Information

What We Offer

  • Flexible hybrid work model and remote based opportunities
  • Career development in a global, inclusive environment
  • Ongoing training and learning opportunities
  • Competitive base salary and bonus/commission packages
  • Full Benefits including paid time off, 11 company holidays, green weeks

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
