About Spark Advisors

We're building healthcare tech for a system that desperately needs it.

Each year, millions of Americans deal with confusing changes to their Medicare plans that impact their prescriptions, access to care, and pocketbooks. These aren’t just inconveniences – they are potentially life-altering changes that leave seniors medically and financially vulnerable.

Independent Medicare advisors play a crucial role in guiding seniors through this complexity and helping them find the right coverage for their needs. But their ability to be effective healthcare advocates has long been hamstrung by broken tools and outdated systems.

Spark is fixing that. We’re the fastest-growing Medicare platform in the country, combining AI, an industry-leading CRM, and client services to transform how 10,000+ brokers acquire, enroll, and support clients in their local communities.

Join a talent-dense team from Square, Ramp, Yext, Oscar, and Cedar — backed by Primary Ventures and Viewpoint Ventures — that is serious about building technology to expand access to quality healthcare. We offer remote work, sabbaticals, company retreats, and other generous benefits that earned us recognition as one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces of 2025

Healthcare is overdue for innovation. Let’s redefine what its future looks like — together.

Summary

Spark is transforming how Medicare agencies operate and this role sits at the heart of that transformation. You’ll lead the product vision for automating the manual, error-prone workflows that currently power agent book of business, enrollment, retention,, and compliance workflows. This is one of the most technically and operationally complex areas at Spark: hundreds of edge cases, fragmented data sources, and high-stakes financial flows that must “just work”. If that sounds like an exciting problem to unknot, you might just be who we are looking for.

This role is a part of Spark's broker experience team: the CRM, quoting, and enrollment tools that brokers use every day. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help make those workflows faster, simpler, and smarter.

We're looking for someone comfortable operating independently and partnering with senior stakeholders, including C-level leadership at a fast-moving Series B startup. Ideally you're a strong generalist, and you bring deep workflow intuition and regulatory awareness to the role.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to define product specs, ship high-quality features, and drive adoption
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback from brokers and internal teams to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Use data to evaluate product performance, measure outcomes, and inform decisions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in your domain and ensure alignment with broader product strategy
  • Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous problems and workstreams
  • Support release planning and ensure features meet quality and usability expectations before launch.
  • Help define and evolve product processes as Spark scales - balancing speed and rigor.
What We're Looking For
  • You have a track record for managing a successful product domain, ideally in B2B SaaS or platform products
  • You write clear product specs and have strong instincts for when to be scrappy vs when to be rigorous.
  • Comfortable moving between discovery and delivery - from user interviews to writing detailed user stories.
  • You're comfortable navigating cross-functional work and can clearly communicate decisions and tradeoffs
  • You use data to inform decisions, whether through dashboards, SQL, or close partnership with data teams
  • You've seen products through multiple launch cycles and know how to set goals, measure impact, and iterate
  • You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and take ownership without waiting to be asked
  • You're deeply empathetic toward all the different internal and external stakeholders you work with

Why you should join our team

By joining Spark, you will get in on the ground floor of a fast-moving, well-funded, and mission-driven startup where you will have a profound impact on the brokers and beneficiaries we serve. And you'll learn, grow, be challenged, and have fun with your team while doing it.

We strive to help you and your family thrive. We're committed to supporting your happiness, healthiness, and overall well-being by providing a comprehensive benefits program. In addition to your base salary, we also offer:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
