Description

Ontario, CA | Toyota | No automotive experience required | Hospitality experience welcome | Sales experience welcome | Inland Empire | Southern California | Veterans encouraged to apply | $50,000 - $120,000+ OTE

Strong candidates have come from hospitality, retail, financial services, real estate, and beyond.

IS THIS YOU?

• You're a relationship-first communicator who earns trust through genuine listening, honest guidance, and consistent follow-through -- guests feel well cared for, not sold to

• You come from hospitality, retail, financial services, or another guest-facing background -- or you have automotive sales experience and want to represent one of the world's most trusted brands at one of the Inland Empire's highest-volume Toyota stores

• You're motivated by building something -- a real book of repeat buyers and referrals in a community that is loyal to the people who take care of them

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Crown Toyota is one of the Inland Empire's highest-volume Toyota stores -- a well-established dealership serving a loyal, community-oriented buyer base in Ontario. Toyota buyers here are value-conscious, informed, and deeply loyal to the consultants who treat them honestly. The Sales Consultant who shows up consistently, follows through without fail, and genuinely cares about the guest builds a career here that compounds year over year.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and curiosity -- understanding what they need before presenting what we have

• Guide guests through Toyota's lineup with growing product knowledge and confidence -- connecting reliability, value, and technology to what matters most to each buyer

• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that bring the Toyota ownership experience to life

• Build and maintain a guest pipeline through consistent, disciplined follow-up and CRM use

• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase experience

• Meet monthly targets while maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores

• Stay current on Toyota's full lineup, technology features, and growing hybrid and EV offerings

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• No automotive experience required -- paid Toyota brand and product training provided from day one

• Experience in hospitality, retail, financial services, or consultative sales strongly preferred -- backgrounds that build trust and deliver results with genuine care transfer directly to this role

• Relationship-first approach -- you listen before you present and follow through on every commitment

• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to build a long-term book of business, not just close individual deals

• Clear, honest communicator -- Toyota buyers are informed and value a consultant who respects that

• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication -- or quick to learn them

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

WHAT WE OFFER

• OTE of $50,000 - $120,000+ annually

• Paid Toyota brand and product training from day one

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• Clear career path -- strong Sales Consultants grow into finance, management, and leadership roles at Swickard

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

WHY CROWN TOYOTA

• One of the Inland Empire's highest-volume Toyota stores -- consistent traffic, a loyal community buyer base, and real earning potential for a motivated consultant who builds relationships and follows through

• Toyota's ownership community is one of the most loyal in the automotive industry -- buyers who trust their consultant return for every vehicle and send their family and friends

• Ontario's working-class, family-oriented community rewards consultants who are honest, prepared, and genuinely invested in the guest's outcome -- not just the transaction

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- describe exactly what a great Sales Consultant does in every guest interaction

• Leadership that invests in your development and celebrates consultants who build lasting guest loyalty

If you're a relationship-driven sales professional ready to build a high-earning career at one of the Inland Empire's most active Toyota stores -- where honest guidance, consistent follow-through, and genuine care for the guest translate into a book of loyal buyers that grows every year -- we'd like to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
