About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role

Salesforce is the Customer Company, and Sales Cloud is its flagship product — now at the center of an AI-first transformation with Agentforce. The Sales Cloud COO team is the connective tissue of the business: a trusted partner to the GM, product leadership, and go-to-market teams who turns strategy into operational reality.

This is not a support role. You will own consequential workstreams, drive commercial and product strategy, and operate at the highest levels of the organization — often on tight timelines and with high visibility. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, product commercialization, and execution, and you're energized by fast-moving environments where no two weeks look the same, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

Business Operations & Rhythm

  • Own the operational cadence for the Sales Cloud product organization — GM staff meetings, PM reviews, V2MOM review cycles, and leadership off-sites

  • Lead Sales Cloud's V2MOM program: track measures, manage review cadences, and drive accountability across pod and product lines

  • Run the Sales Cloud fiscal year budget process, including planning, execution, and ongoing inspection

  • Own aspects of the business inspection cadence; identify patterns, surface risks early, and implement continuous improvements

Executive Communications & Business Reviews

  • Build executive-level presentations for local and global leadership reviews — BLT updates, GM business reviews, and Board/analyst-facing materials — often on tight deadlines

  • Coordinate Day 0 and Dreamforce readiness deliverables across product, PMM, and comms

  • Support quarterly business reviews with Sales, Customer Success, and executive briefings

  • Lead Customer Advisory Board (CAB) planning — logistics, content, and stakeholder alignment

GTM Strategy & Commercial Execution

  • Partner with Distribution, Pricing & Packaging, Finance, and Product Marketing to operationalize product launches and promotional frameworks (QST approvals, edition packaging, contract migrations)

  • Drive scaled adoption programs, working across Product, CS, and Sales on FDE playbooks and GTM readiness motions

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and decision-maker on complex deal escalations and approval workflows requiring business judgment and cross-functional coordination

Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead key cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution — define the problem, bring in the right stakeholders, and drive to outcomes

  • Support Agentforce and AI-era product strategy integration: partner with PMM and Product on new agent launches, headless/API strategy, evolving product naming, and edition packaging as the portfolio rapidly shifts

  • Facilitate Strategic Initiatives Committee (SIC) operations and track progress against key bets

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of professional experience in management consulting, strategy, or operations roles

  • Proven track record leading strategic and operational initiatives in large, matrixed organizations

  • Strong command of both quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive decisions

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting executive GTM or product strategy in a fast-moving AI or SaaS environment

  • Comfort operating in a "startup within a big company" context — navigating rapid portfolio changes, evolving product naming, and new GTM motions simultaneously

  • Strong cross-functional influencing skills without direct authority across Distribution, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Product

  • Ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans

  • Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills — you make hard things look easy

  • Self-starter with high drive, positive energy, and resilience under pressure

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
