We're looking for an Enterprise Solutions Associate to lead qualified sales opportunities from initial discovery through signed agreement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems, building trusted executive relationships, and closing complex consultative sales opportunities.
Position Overview
The Enterprise Solutions Associate owns the sales process after a qualified opportunity enters the pipeline.
Working closely with executive leadership, you'll lead discovery conversations, identify customer priorities, develop solution recommendations, coordinate proposals, navigate complex enterprise buying processes, negotiate toward agreement, and drive opportunities to a successful close.
This is a consultative sales role with clear commercial accountability. Success is measured by your ability to advance opportunities, close business, generate revenue, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Sales Process
- Own qualified opportunities from initial discovery through signed agreement.
- Develop and execute account strategies that move opportunities through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Maintain momentum across complex enterprise buying processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Coordinate follow-up meetings, executive presentations, proposals, procurement, legal reviews, and contract execution.
- Identify obstacles that could delay opportunities and proactively develop strategies to move deals forward.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and consistently communicate opportunity status to leadership.
Discovery & Solution Development
- Lead discovery meetings to understand organizational priorities, operational workflows, business challenges, and strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate AI opportunity mapping discussions that identify where AI can create measurable operational and financial impact.
- Qualify opportunities based on business need, organizational readiness, budget, timeline, and strategic fit.
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's operating model before recommending solutions.
- Partner with leadership and technical teams to design solutions aligned with each customer's objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear solution recommendations and implementation approaches.
- Prepare customized proposals, presentations, statements of work, and commercial recommendations.
- Present Performance AI's platform, services, and capabilities in a way that connects technical functionality to measurable business outcomes.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders throughout the buying journey.
- Become a strategic advisor by helping customers understand how AI can improve execution, governance, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
- Represent Performance AI professionally during customer meetings, executive workshops, conferences, and strategic discussions.
- Create confidence throughout the buying process through preparation, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Collaboration & Sales Operations
- Partner closely with the Enterprise Business Development Representative to ensure a seamless transition from qualified meetings into active sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, implementation, and executive leadership throughout the sales process.
- Ensure customer expectations, project scope, and implementation considerations are clearly communicated internally.
- Support successful customer handoffs following contract execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, sales activity, and opportunity updates with consistency and discipline.
Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise sales, solution consulting, business development, or consultative B2B sales.
- Demonstrated ability to own and close complex sales opportunities.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate confidently with CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs, and other senior leadership teams.
- Excellent discovery, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational challenges across multiple industries.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable learning AI-powered products and communicating technical concepts in business-friendly language.
- Proficient in AI-Tools, CRM platforms, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, and presentation software.
- Authorized to work full-time in the United States. Performance AI does not provide employment visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, AI platforms, consulting services, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
- Ability to use AI tools to accelerate content creation while producing authentic, original, and audience-appropriate communication that reflects Performance AI's voice and standards.
