Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety protocols specifically tailored to HRSG and Simple Cycle power generation environments.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Lead safety training initiatives, ensuring all personnel are proficient in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30-hour standards relevant to the construction sector.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to integrate safety measures into the construction lifecycle from planning through execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of safety compliance, training records, and audit reports.
Requirements
- Possess 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in safety management within the construction industry, with a specific focus on power generation facilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30-hour certifications, with a deep understanding of their application in industrial settings.
- Strong working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices specific to HRSG and Simple Cycle power generation systems.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and management to drive safety compliance.
