We are seeking an experienced RF engineer to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact on wireless communication systems. As an RF Propagation and Modeling Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and validating RF propagation models, ensuring optimal coverage and capacity for our clients. This role provides an excellent platform to work with diverse engineering teams and stay at the forefront of wireless technology advancements. Responsibilities
  • Develop and calibrate RF propagation models for Wi-Fi, 5G NR, and NTN bands.
  • Conduct propagation studies, evaluating path loss, fading, and atmospheric effects.
  • Generate wireless coverage predictions and heatmaps for various scenarios.
  • Analyze RF coverage and perform capacity planning for industrial and mission-critical systems.
  • Model and optimize end-to-end throughput performance under different RF conditions.
  • Design wireless networks to meet coverage, capacity, and throughput objectives.
  • Build and maintain simulation environments for propagation analysis.
  • Conduct field surveys and validate propagation models with measurement data.
  • Develop automation tools for RF analysis and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF design and systems engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Telecom/Wireless Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • 5+ years of experience in RF engineering, propagation modeling, or wireless network planning.
  • Expertise in electromagnetic wave propagation, RF fundamentals, and antenna theory.
  • Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for programming and analytics tasks.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi, 5G NR, NTN, and mission-critical wireless technologies.
  • Knowledge of RF planning tools and GIS mapping systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with geospatial analysis, digital terrain modeling, and LiDAR-based propagation analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex RF data.
  • Excellent technical communication and documentation abilities.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams and customer-facing roles.
