About Us:

Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.

We’re based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We're backed by top investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Y Combinator, Floodgate, Elad Gil, Justin Kan, Qasar Younis, Eric Ries, and more.

We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.

As an early stage start-up employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

As a systems owner, you’ll go beyond maintenance—helping architect scalable solutions, improve reporting accuracy, drive automation, and integrate tools that streamline workflows and enhance decision-making. You’ll be a hands-on problem solver who can translate business needs into clean system design and ensure seamless cross-functional alignment .

If you’re excited by building from scratch, optimizing for scale, and playing a key role in the infrastructure behind a fast-growing GTM engine, this is the role for you.

    • Manage user profiles, permissions, roles, and ensure robust security settings.

    • Customize and maintain system functionality (fields, page layouts, workflows, automation).

    • Regularly perform system checks, troubleshoot, and implement updates to ensure optimal performance and alignment with evolving business needs.

  • Data Integration & Reporting

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows, dashboards, and reports that provide clear visibility into key revenue metrics.

    • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Process Optimization & Tool Integration

    • Identify and resolve system inefficiencies through automation and process improvements.

    • Evaluate and integrate new tools effectively into the existing technology stack.

    • Document best practices and ensure consistent adoption across teams through proactive training and responsive support.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Act as a liaison between Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

    • Translate business requirements into actionable system and process enhancements.

    • Coordinate cross-departmental changes to prevent disruption and ensure seamless integration across functions.

About You:

  • 5–7+ years of experience building and scaling revenue technology systems in high-growth environments

  • Proven ability to architect and implement Salesforce and broader revenue tech infrastructure from the ground up

  • Hands-on expertise in designing, executing, and optimizing best-in-class revenue operations systems

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
