The Revenue Technology Advisor serves as Force Management’s domain expert on the revenue technology stack, partnering with sales to architect and sell solutions while owning the technical relationship long after the deal closes. This quota-carrying, presale role blends solution consulting and account management, guiding prospects and clients through evaluation, adoption, and renewal. The ideal candidate operates with a sales-focused solution architect mindset, translating technical capability into business value for Revenue Operations leaders and driving durable, expanding platform adoption. The Revenue Technology Advisor will be responsible for the growth and expansion of the Force Management technology portfolio including Ascender, Opportunity Manager, and Xcelerator.  In addition, the ideal candidate will work closely with clients on Revenue Workflow Optimization initiatives and be a key stakeholder in managing technology partnerships that enhance the adoption and application of the Force Management methodologies within the client revenue operating system.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Thinks like a solution architect but sells like a closer, equally comfortable in a whiteboard session and a renewal negotiation.
  • Builds credibility quickly with Rev Ops and technical stakeholders by speaking their language and solving for their workflows.
  • Works well in a team environment where the Force Management Account Executive has overall responsibility for account relationship where the Revenue Technology Advisor aligns with the account strategy and positions themself as a strategic advisor.
  • Treats renewals and adoption as personal wins, not handoffs, and takes full ownership of the renewal in partnership with both the Account Executives and the Customer Success Managers.
  • Curious by nature, continuously learning the platform, the market, and each customers technology stack.
  • Operates with the integrity and professionalism expected of a trusted technical advisor.
  • Comfortable carrying a number while holding technical credibility, and doesn’t hide behind either.
  • Brings the dynamic, uncommon energy Force expects, whether presenting to an executive or troubleshooting an integration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Presales & Solution Architecture
  • Partner with Account Executives as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, scoping solutions to prospect requirements.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept work tailored to Rev Ops buyers.
  • Design solution architectures that map the FM technology stack to existing client systems and workflows.
  • Respond to technical and security questionnaires, RFPs, and integration requirements during evaluation.
  • Bring the right partners to the conversation to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
Account Ownership & Renewals
  • Own renewal outcomes for an assigned book of business, carrying a quota tied to retention and expansion.
  • Partner with Account Executives to build and execute account plans that identify expansion opportunities alongside renewal cycles.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers post-sale, maintaining continuity from sale through renewal, coordinating with Product to ensure successful implantation, integration, and configuration.
Adoption & Technical Advisory
  • Drive ongoing product adoption by guiding customers through configuration, best practices, and platform capabilities.
  • Partner with Customer Success to monitor usage and health signals to proactively address risk before it threatens renewal.
  • Act as the trusted technical advisor, translating customer feedback into adoption strategies and internal product input.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to represent the voice of the customer on technical requirements.
  • Contribute technical expertise to internal enablement, helping Sales and CS teams better understand the platform.
  • Interfacing with delivery teams, solution architects, and consultants to shape each Revenue Workflow Optimization engagement to meet the unique requirements of each customer.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in presales consulting, solution consulting, or technical account management, ideally supporting Rev Ops or GTM technology.
  • Demonstrated experience selling or supporting sales into Revenue Operations leaders and technical buyers.
  • Track record owning renewal quota or retention targets in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Working knowledge of CRM, sales engagement, and GTM technology stacks.
  • Experience running technical discovery, solution demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Strong presentation and consultative communication skills, comfortable engaging both technical and executive audiences.
  • Ideally experience operating in a prime / co-prime selling model.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
