At BuildOps, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the trades. Our all-in-one platform is built specifically for commercial contractors, bringing modern operations and field service software to an industry that's long been underserved by technology. We’re growing fast—and we’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Administrative Assistant to support our Revenue organization.

As our Revenue Team Coordinator, you’ll be the operational backbone for our sales, marketing, and customer success teams. You’ll handle everything from calendar management to event logistics, travel coordination, partner gifting, and project follow-ups. If you’re the type of person who keeps things moving, notices the little details, and enjoys being the go-to problem solver, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage complex calendars for revenue leaders and assist with team scheduling
  • Coordinate domestic travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation
  • Support team events, off-sites, and occasional customer dinners
  • Ship gifts and materials to partners and prospects—on time and beautifully packaged
  • Track and follow up on key initiatives, internal projects, and team priorities
  • Maintain operational excellence by ensuring the team stays organized and focused
  • Help onboard new revenue team members with workspace setup, tools access, etc.
  • Be the go-to for anything and everything the team needs to keep moving fast

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative or team coordination role
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and follow-up abilities
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, and project tracking tools like Asana or Notion
  • A team player who thrives in a startup environment and loves solving problems

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with a revenue, sales, or customer-facing team
  • Familiarity with travel management platforms (TripActions, Navan, etc.)
  • An eye for detail when it comes to events, gifting, and presentation

What we offer

  • 60-75k base salary + equity/stock.
  • A comprehensive benefits package
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Work from home stipend
  • If located in LA - Flexible and hybrid work schedules with lunch provided for in-office days
  • Company events like BBQs and team-building activities, both in-person and virtual
  • Talented and motivated team members who care deeply about one another (seriously, everyone is rooting for your success!)
  • The chance to get in on the ground floor and build something truly groundbreaking for ourselves and our amazing customers

Forbes Magazine

“BuildOps is unique because it addresses the problem of efficiency in construction for an often-overlooked audience. Rather than focusing on large projects, or catering to owners, they look to the needs of technician-heavy subcontracting firms working in the commercial space.”

TechCrunch

“The new financing will be used to support the company’s continued growth. BuildOps sells software that integrates scheduling, dispatching, inventory management, contracts, workflow and accounting into a single software package for commercial real estate contractors with staff ranging from a few dozen to several hundred employees.”

Crunchbase

In a statement, [former NFL superstar] Joe Montana noted that his firm (Liquid 2 Ventures) has an investment thesis in supporting America’s working class… “I just love the idea of making their lives far easier and better,” he said. With BuildOps, “you have one solution that does it all and talks seamlessly to every single part of their business from parts to ordering to inventory and more.”

Wall Street Journal [Paywall]

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
