Invisible’s unique AI Process Platform combines elite global human expertise, cutting edge technology, and deep institutional knowledge gained by training 80% of the world’s leading AI models. Trusted by AWS, Microsoft, and Cohere, we have an unparalleled ability to operationalize AI for real-world applications. Our explosive growth landed us the #2 spot on the Inc. 5000 in 2024, closing the year on $134m revenue.

About the Role

Join our team as a Revenue Senior Accountant and become the expert behind our revenue engine. You’ll own and refine revenue accounting processes to close faster, cleaner, and with full compliance. With a sharp eye for contracts and deep ASC 606 knowledge, you’ll work cross-functionally to review enterprise deals, flag risks early, and ensure documentation is airtight. You thrive in high-accountability roles, where nuance matters and precision is paramount. Your work will be core to scaling our financial reporting with confidence.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the end-to-end revenue accounting cycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant revenue recognition
  • Review new and existing enterprise customer contracts and draft technical accounting memos to document revenue treatment
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance stakeholders to validate pricing models, billing structures, and contract terms
  • Shorten the revenue close cycle by improving reconciliations, documentation standards, and system workflows with a continuous focus on automation and the best use of technology/systems
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing support schedules and addressing revenue-related inquiries
  • Monitor evolving ASC 606 guidance and lead internal discussions around complex or unusual deal structures
What We Need
  • 4–6+ years of experience in revenue accounting with deep knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS business models. CPA strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to shorten close cycles while improving documentation and accuracy  by implementing automation and best use of systems.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting complex customer contracts, especially with custom pricing or terms
  • Fluency in Netsuite and spreadsheet-based revenue models; experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort making judgment calls in gray areas
  • Exceptional communication skills — you can explain technical accounting clearly to non-accountants
  • Precision under pressure: you thrive in audit-ready environments and move quickly without sacrificing detail

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
