monday.com is looking for an experienced NYC-based Senior Revenue Accountant to join our expanding global Finance department!
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting and reporting processes as well as serve as a business partner for our Sales, CX, Legal and other business teams.
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.
About The Role
- Contribute toward the revenue controllership function of our NYC office
- Serve as a business partner and provide ongoing support to our customer-facing teams
- Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process according to US GAAP
- Review and analyze agreements with customers and partners to ensure proper revenue recognition (ASC-606) and other accounting standards or internal policies are met
- Prepare, maintain and analyze various reports supporting business needs
- Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance current workflows and procedures internally, and in conjunction with other departments
- Drive system enhancements and identify opportunities to optimize processes
- Take part in implementing and communicating new finance policies
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably from software companies (SAAS)
- CPA with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with Big-4 experience
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 in specific
- Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company
- Ability to work autonomously, with solid decision making skills
- Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong Excel knowledge and experience
- Knowledge in BI tools
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Oracle-NetSuite and Salesforce

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $115,000-$140,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
