Who you areMetropolis is seeking a Revenue Manager to support our teams in providing revenue management across the US and bidding on new business opportunities with airports of all sizes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative, and innovative, with a focus on communicating data to drive critical revenue decisions and yield strategies that increase profitability for SFO. You will lead the quarterly forecasting cycle, collaborate with onsite operations, and build strong relationships with SFO Parking Management and Financial Planning teams to align pricing and inventory with the overall customer experience. This role reports into Revenue Management Director, with an indirect report into the General Manager of SFO. The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships with the SFO Parking Management, SFO Financial Planning, Metropolis Operations teams, and Metropolis Marketing.
This role is based at San Francisco International Airport with a hybrid work schedule of minimum 3 days on site and 2 days remote, with up to 4 days on site some weeks depending on time of year.
What you'll do- Support teams providing revenue management services to airports across the US
- Lead the quarterly forecasting cycle in collaboration with assigned airports to highlight short and long-term trends; prepare and deliver comprehensive reports highlighting key information and assumptions within the forecast cycle
- Recommend yield strategies based on quantitative analysis of demand, competition, and consumer behavior
- Write and review monthly revenue reports highlighting key performance factors
- Monitor competitor activity including off-airport operators, third-party aggregators, and other transport modes
- Coordinate online promotions to maximize parking sales and increase the customer database
- Utilize pricing tools and reporting dashboards to drive price recommendation strategies
- Design revenue management plans for new business opportunities
- Collaborate with onsite operations staff to achieve set objectives for revenue, customer service, and employee satisfaction; as well as identify and recommend operational adjustments, conducting scheduled and ad-hoc walkthroughs as needed to ensure pricing, inventory, and customer experience align with revenue strategies
- Conduct regular onsite reviews of parking facilities, including walking garages, verifying occupancy counts, reviewing signage and pricing displays, and assessing conditions that may impact revenue performance
- B.S./B.A. or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as data analytics, economics, or statistics
- 2+ years related analytics, business intelligence, or decision support experience
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Google Analytics to drive commercial decision making; high level of proficiency and technical skill in Microsoft Excel
- Experience designing annual budgets and periodic reforecasting for airport parking or similar sectors
- Ability to build business cases and proposals for existing and prospective clients
- Proficiency in using multiple online distribution channels to maximize sales and identify channel advantages
- Experience implementing revenue management strategies and assessing the validity of reports based on large data sets
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively while working under time constraints
- Ability to comfortably work in a variety of settings; including, but not limited to: parking garages, offices, and airport terminals
- Previous experience using online booking systems to input yield strategies
- Travel industry experience including airline, hotel, rental car, or airport parking
- Use of SQL or Python for data analysis

The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,000.00 USD to $140,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
